Pediatric Occupational Therapist Position

We are seeking a pediatric occupational therapist to join our dynamic team! Preferred candidates will be able to contribute to the overall success of the clinic by providing the highest standard of evidence based practice through independent critical thinking to achieve clinical outcomes for children and their families.

Essential job functions include

• Evaluating and treating feeding, fine motor, visual motor, sensory motor in daily living skills being respectful of cultural, social, economic and learning diversity

• Establishing family and client centered goals, treatment planning, patient education in home program and discharge planning in line with family priorities and industry standards for episodes of care

• Participating in bi monthly staff training and contributing to ongoing education per professional development plans

• Managing caseload ensuring weekly and or monthly productivity standards are met or exceeded

• Delivering highest standard of care through collaboration with multidisciplinary team including physical therapist, speech therapist and administrative team members

• Supporting pediatric care by participating in physical activity that includes standing, sitting, squatting, crawling, pulling, floor based play and lifting up to 50 pounds

Minimum qualifications:

• bachelors degree or higher in occupational therapy

• Licensed in the state of Arizona or eligible to be licensed and obtain license prior to start date

• Fingerprint clearance card

• Current CPR certification

• Pediatric experience

Preferred qualifications:

• training or experience in feeding, eating, swallowing intervention

• Proficiency in Spanish

• COTA supervision experience
